Green Faces is an annual competition organised by A-List entertainment. A selection of 'up and coming' comedians are invited from each Australian state to compete for a place in the grand final. Last year, my performance was well below parr and on this stage I had to be on top form - I was! Which was nice...

MC for the evening was Mikey Robins. A magnificent talent who has done it all. He kept claiming to have no material and yet the audience were choking with laughter everytime he hit the stage...

The eventual winner of the heat was Dave Eastgate. Congrats to him and I thank all the guys for an excellent time on the sixteen hour journey from Canberra to Brisbane... One of the lowlights of the trip was that one of our number was so consumed with lust that he could not help himself from jacking off in a BP service station... he shall remain nameless - should he provide me with the necessary money to keep stumm!

Thankfully I managed to get some sleep in the Toyota Tarago on the way back. Enjoy the pics. Thanks to Stuart Fisher for providing them...

17th May 2006: Wednesday Nite Live is a collaboration between the BRISCOM (Brisbane Comics) and the Sit Down Comedy Club.

Written by Briscom and produced by Briscom and SDCC. So far we've produced two shows. The Briscom members are (In no particular order)

Kristian Smith, Nish, Shane Downey, Alan Rutledge, Jenny Wynter, Shaun Conroy, James O'Connell, Marshall Davis and myself.

These are the pictures from Week Two held last night at The Paddo Tavern. The crowds had more than doubled over the last outing. However, although we all produced the goods - the crowds were itching to leave because the Anthony Mundine/Danny Green boxing match was on... Everybody seemed to want Danny Green to win but class outfought hope... back to the comedy...

WNL is a mixture of sketch show comedy, stand-up and music. Special guests included: Shelby who provided a stunning display of musical talent. Bart Freebairn and Sean Baxter appeared as special guest Stand Up...

Corndale: No sod outside Northern New South Wales seem to know where it is... its not on the map we had and directions were provided by one Jonathan Atherton who is one of the founding organisers of the Corndale Community Hall Comedy gig. Along with CJ, and other Corndale townsfolk, they organised the first gig nearly eleven years ago and run it twice yearly. This was gig number 21. When Jonathan asked me to do it this gig nearly three months ago - I jumped at the chance - not because it was a paid gig but because Jonathan asked! This man is an amazing comedian - he's quicker with words than Muhammed Ali was with his fists... Watching him in action is always awe inspiring. Kerrin, myself, 'Hollywood' Brett Shergold, Darren Brinkworth and James O'Connell made the trip down to Northern NSW in a tarago and stopped off in Byron Bay for lunch before making our way to CJ and Pat's place in Corndale... The gig @ the Community Hall was like nothing else I'd ever played - Also on the bill was Chris Radburn and Jenny Wynter who was fresh from her triumph as RAW Triple 'J' runner up!

In front of a packed house on 30th March 2006, Lady Julia Morris ripped laughs from their throats with the ease of picking tissues from the ground. For the second week in a row I was awestruck by a performance. I'd be satisfied with a tenth of her talent. I opened the show.

Stephen K Amos Headlined at the Paddo Tavern 23-25 March 2006. A fantastic show which had Josh Thomas, Nish and David Eastgate in support: Mad Mike Bennett was MC. I was just along for the ride and I got to meet the man himself. Kerrin and I have seen him in London twice - Once @ Ealing Studios and then @ The Comedy Store in Piccadilly Circus. Stephen is a class act who rips audiences apart with his unique brand of humour. A few of us got to drink the night away with him after his laughter riddled show... I love this life...
